AIM methodology - classic methodology, based on work with the current and future business processes, collection of the customer's requirements to all steps of business processes, search for optimal solution.

AIM for Business Flows methodology, recenlty created, was already used by consultants of Borlas. Several projects of implementation of corporate-wide Management Information systems based on Oracle e-Business Suite were successfully delivered, including one project within Borlas Consulting group itself. 

Advantages of AIM for BF methodology are as follows:

  • Use of standard business flows which address several business processes. For example, 'Requisition to Pay' flow will include all the necessary steps: creation of requisiotion, production planning, production execution, shipment of finished good, invoicing and payments.
  • Within the implementation, the connected business flows with the single goal are completely covered - from the originating event to the final event.
  • Implementation is focused on the goals and tasks of an enterprise while benefiting from the pre-setup flows, built on the best business practises, accumulated by the leading companies worldwide.
  • Company specialists doesn't spend their time on documenting business flows. Instead, they concentrate on the testing of adopting pre-setup business flows to the pecularities of company's business.
  • Use of iterative approaching to match prototype flows with the needs of an enterprise thru several testing sessions
  • Use of pre-seeded end-user templates (almost completed) descreases implementation time
