We deliver our services through both traditional Project-Based Delivery as well as using the Offshore Dedicated Center (ODC) model.
Project-Based Delivery
In this approach, the services offered by Belsoft-Borlas group are delivered from offshore location (Minsk/Belarus) on the project-driven basis. The project has exactly defined goals, scope, duration, plan, budget and staff. Specialists are assigned to the project based on the skills and experience required to solve the defined tasks. The project ends up with the acceptance of the results by the client. Continuous maintenance services can be provided after the project is finished, if necessary.
To facilitate the work of remote team and speed up the project delivery, a part of work is done onshore by a team of specialists located onsite at client’s premises. Average ratio between offshore and onshore work is 80/20, especially in the beginning of work with a new client. Over the time, if the business requirements are properly collected and documented by the client’s team, when communication with the client’s team is properly established and proved to be effective, this ratio may change to 90/10, or even all our services might be delivered from offshore in some cases.
Offshore Dedicated Center
ODC model is useful when you have a continuous long-term need in outsourcing services. Belsoft-Borlas group becomes responsible for the entire preparation of development facility for a client, starting from office search/constructing a new building when needed, staffing, supply of necessary hardware and office equipment, organization of security access to facility and information on the ODC projects, ending up with payroll services. The benefits of this model is a less start up time for the client projects and zero team ramp costs, and better understanding of client requirements and needs by the project team.
Once the ODC is established, its maintenance and management of all ODC projects can be done by either client itself or Belsoft-Borlas group. It depends on the client’s team competency and strategic goals of a client.
If Belsoft-Borlas group continues to operate the ODC, then we establish the entire cycle of management and operational activities, including:
- Project management and development methodology (client’s methodology can be implemented if requested);
- Project start up, control and delivery
- Continuous recruiting services
- ODC management
- Regular reporting to the client
- Costing and accounting, including payroll services
- Administration services, office equipment support
